Classic Basil Pesto

Raw veggies and dip are a healthy, quick and easy snack.  Veggies alone can get boring pretty fast and are not a significant source of protein or good fats. Try this fragrant and nutrient packed pesto with you favourite veggies and you'll have a tasty and powerhouse snack or lunch to on the run!

"Veggies & Dip, Dip, Dip!"


  • 2 cups raw walnuts

  • 1/2 cup of olive oil

  • 2 cups fresh basil

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • Dash of salt to taste


  • In food processor, process nuts until fine.

  • Add remaining ingredients and process until very smooth.

  • Refrigerate.
